Playthrough of the PC version of Star Trek: Elite Force II. Played on Normal skill level, grabbing every secret and collectible, Proper widescreen FoV, 1080p60fps, and with no voice comments.
Sequel for the 2000 shooter, also sporting the Quake III engine, but heavily modified by the folks at Ritual Entertainment (SiN), another standard but entertaining shooter, but with lots of easter eggs. Please note that the graphical settings are NOT maxed, I disabled stencil shadows because during gameplay, they look OK most of the time, but during the cutscenes they fail badly on the character's faces, so bad that they drew me out from the cutscene. The stencil shadows in the Quake III engine were experimental and never finished, we had to wait until Doom3 for that. Also, those shadow meant severe performance hits on open environments, even on modern hardware... and what the heck, even with them disabled you'll notice FPS drops all the time... BAD optimization.
Also, the FoV would reset upon loading a new level, so I bound it to a key to fix it every time, you'll notice it at the begining of every vid :P

Playthrough de la versión de PC de Star Trek: Elite Force II. Jugado en dificultad "Normal", obteniendo todos los secretos y coleccionables, con el FoV apropiado para pantallas panoramicas, 1080p60fps, sin comentarios en voz.
Secuela del shooter del 2000, usando también el motor del QuakeIII, pero muy modificado por la gente de Ritual Enterntainment (SiN), otro shooter estándar pero entretenido, y con un montón de huevos de pascua. Tened en cuenta que los gráficos NO están al tope, desactive las sombras 'Stencil' porque durante el juego lucen OK la mayor parte del tiempo, pero en las escenas fallan horriblemente en las caras de los personajes, tanto que le restan toda la inmersión al asunto. Las Stencil estaban implementadas experimentalmente en el motor del QuakeIII, pero hubo que esperar a Doom3 para que las terminasen. Además, activarlas significaba bajones de rendimiento importantes en áreas abiertas, incluso en hardware moderno... Y que carajo, incluso con ellas desactivadas también os dareis cuenta de las bajadas de FPS todo el rato... MALA optimización.
